Swimming in Santa Clara County Parks is not allowed by order of the Santa Clara Valley Water District.
Anderson Lake Seasonal Closure
Due to the lake level dropping, Anderson Lake will be closed to all boating, including power boats, kayaks and float tubes, starting August 19, 2019.
Reduced Boating Hours Notice:
Please be advised of limited Invasive Mussel Inspection hours at some Santa Clara County boating parks.
All power boating reservoirs (Coyote, Anderson and Calero) should have a vessel inspector all day. Non-power (Lexington and Stevens Creek) are still experiencing shortages and often don’t have AM coverage.
If your boat already carries a Santa Clara County Invasive Species band and meets all other criteria for boat launch; you may arrive at any time to launch where there are park staff available to check your band.
Lexington County Park and Stevens Creek County Park are among the parks that do not have full time kiosk attendants and will be unable to check bands prior to 11:00am. Launching prior to 11:00am will not be permitted at Lexington or Stevens Creek County Park.
To review boating criteria, please visit: https://www.sccgov.org/sites/parks/Activities/Boating-Fishing/Pages/Boating.aspx.
We appreciate your understanding while we work to correct this staffing shortage. If you have questions, please feel free to visit our website: www.parkhere.org.
Are you looking to have a Jump House or Amusement Device at your reserved site?
Santa Clara County Parks allows the use of these devices from approved vendors. The SCC Parks approved vendor list can change frequently or at any time. Please be sure to contact our Reservations office to obtain the most current approved list.
A application is required along with an additional $40.00 fee. Please contact our office for an application, our current vendor list and more information.
Only SCC Parks approved and current vendors may operate, provide or install an Interactive Amusement Device (IAD). You must have a reserved picnic area to have an IAD at your event. Vendors not listed on our approved vendor list will not be approved for use.
